I believe that the European exploration around the world was one of the best events that took place because if it had not taken place, some of the lands that exist right now would not have all that advanced technology and all that kind of stuff. The exploration brought new things to the different continents around the world, some were good and some were bad. From the good stuff, European explorers brought animals and food that did not appear to exist in other continents. They also went home with new food, like the Colombian coffee bean and more. That really helped the people that lived in different continents because they lacked of food in their homes that other continents were abundant with. European explorations also brought bad stuff to other continents like illnesses. These illnesses were devastating to the people who lived there because they did not have any medicine against them. This affected the Native American Indians, who trying to defend their land also had to worry about these illnesses that killed them. Because of these explorations, the world got more civilized in education and technology, and that is how people became more civilized around the world, because of the European exploration and that is why I strongly believe it is important that we study European exploration in our classes.

European history was an important event and it showed other regions how to be a dominate land over the others. Many people believe in Eurocentrism, because if you view the world in a European perspective it can help you with the land that you live on. The Europeans had many important events in their history like the Renaissance. In the 16th century, European imperialism increased European superiority and for 200 years Europe has dominated the land. With all of Europe’s wealth and power they were able to support larger populations. Because of this, it made technological progress faster and trade easier. Since Europe had so many advantages, they were able to conquer more land. If we weren’t allowed to learn about European history, we wouldn’t know how great of a continent Europe is.
I agree with Alexis Eduardo’s argument. The world did become more civilized in education and technology. European exploration around the world was one of the best events in history. Many continents and countries look up to Europe and Eurasia because of how advanced they were. Europe had many things that didn’t appear on other continents and that is one thing that brought people over to Europe. Even though Europe had bad things like illnesses, the good conquered over it and that made Europe one of the biggest role models for the world.

In my research on the European history I conclude that studing the European history is a great way to learn about the cultures and geographical features such as buildings in Athens or the colosseum were gladiators faught fiercely to defend there honor. If we were not able to research or study about europe we would not know about the conquest or battles in the european histoy for example the spartan warriors, a great story about spartans , not to get off subject, but is the movie "300". To also learn the tactics of stratigies used in wars and battle such as with Alexander the Great, you would have to learn about Europe. But the reason I think that we should learn European history isn't just for it's history it's also because almost half the American culture is based on the history of Europe, another example would be politics, its because of greece that this has happened. So studing european History is a great way to learn about alot of things and also learn about the history of a great country.

I belive that Francisco Pisaro was the greatest explorer for many reasons. He paved the way for many great explorers that came after him inspired by Cortez's great adventures he set out himself. Funded by Charles V his thousand some men defeated the mighty Inca empire which had a number of 30,000. Francisco raided the Inca captial and became the new king of the Inca's, he was given gold and wealth beyond his dreams. He was so great and so powerful with gold even his own men conspired against him and he was finaly murdered in 1541 by his fellow explorers who coudnt stand his greatness and wealth and belived they should have been entitled to more gold than they had recieved. He was truly the greatest explorere no other one comes nearly as close in comparison.
